Is the Gromant legal for tournament play?
Yes, the Gromant is fully tournament-legal when the slope function is disabled. A simple switch allows you to toggle slope calculation on for practice rounds and off for tournament play.
How does the slope function work?
Our slope technology uses an internal accelerometer to measure the angle of elevation change and automatically adjusts the displayed distance to account for how much longer or shorter the shot will play.
What is the battery life of the Gromant?
A single CR2 battery provides power for approximately 5,000 measurements, which translates to 40-50 rounds of golf for most players. A battery level indicator warns you when replacement is needed.
